Paleo Chard with Tomatoes

  • 1 lb red swiss chard or green swiss chard or any chard for that matter
  • 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can fire roasted tomatoes,
  • crushed red pepper flakes to taste
  • lemon squeezed on top if you want

Step 1

Trim coarse leaves and thick center ribs from chard; cut tender stems and leaves into 1/2-inch slices.
Heat 1 tablespoon of the oil in a large skille add garlic and red pepper flakes; cook, stirring, 2-3 minutes; add chard and cook until wilted,5 minutes; add tomatoes, cook for an additional few minutes.
