Ingredients
- 3/4 cup shortening
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 2 (3.4-ounce) packages lemon instant pudding mix
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Beat shortening in large bowl at medium speed of electric beater until fluffy. Gradually add sugar, beating well. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition.
Combine flour and remaining 3 ingredients in medium bowl; gradually add to shortening mixture, beating well. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake 8 to 9 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets; transfer cookies to wire racks to cool completely
