- 2 T. flour
- 1/4 t. salt
- Dash pepper
- 1 cup milk
- Thin White Sauce:
- 1 T. butter/margarine
- 1 T. flour
- 1/4 t. salt
- Dash pepper
- 1 cup milk

Step 1
In a small saucepan, melt butter or margarine. Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Add milk all at once. Cook and stir over medium heat till thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir 1 to 2 minutes more. Makes about 1 cup.
