Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons (¹⁄₂ stick) unsalted butter
- 1 ¹⁄₂ cups Bisquick baking mix
- ²⁄₃ cup whole milk
- ²⁄₃ cup granulated sugar
- 1 (15-ounce) can blackberry pie filling
- 1 teaspoon packed
- light brown sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350°F. While the oven is heating, put the butter in an 8-inch square baking dish and transfer to the oven. Remove the dish when the butter has melted.
In a medium bowl, stir together the Bisquick, milk, and granulated sugar until smooth. Pour into the dish on top of the butter. Drop spoonfuls of the pie filling over the batter. Do not stir. Sprinkle the brown sugar over the top of the mixture.
Bake until golden brown on top, 30 to 35 minutes. Serve warm.
