Grilled Turkey and Cranberry Sandwiches

  • 4 t. olive oil
  • 8 slices whole grain bread
  • 4 oz pepper jack or mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 8 oz. roast turkey, sliced
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce, strained if runny



Step 1

Heat 1 t. oil in large frying pan over medim heat. Place 2 slices of bread in pan and top with 1/3 of the cheese and 1/2 of the turkey. Spread hal fo the sauce over turkey and top with another quarter of the cheese and slice of bread. COok until bronwed, about 4 minutes. Remove from pan, add another t. oil, and cook second side until toasted, about 3 minutes. Repeat for remaining sandwiches.
