Mediterranean Pita Pizzas

Ingredients

  • 2 whole wheat pita pockets
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinaigrette
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh basil
  • 1 large plum tomato, seeded
  • 1 clove garlic chopped
  • 1/3 c hummus (8oz container)
  • 1 tbsp shredded parmesan cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven 400. Large cookie sheet place pita. Bake 6 to 8 minutes. In medium bowl, mix vinaigrette, basil, tomato, and garlic. Spread hummus over each pita. Spoon tomato mixture over hummus and sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Bake 5 to 6 minutes until tomato mixture Is hot.
