Caroline’s Dressing

Ingredients

  • 2 C dry bread crumbs
  • 1/2 C hot water
  • 1/4 C melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 C chopped celery
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 C chopped nuts (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Pour hot water over crumbs. Let stand 10 minutes. If watery, press out surplus. Mix and bake until brown.
