Ingredients

  • 1/2

    cup sliced onions

  • 1/2

    teaspoon crushed garlic

  • 3

    tablespoons butter

  • 1/2

    pound Polish sausage sliced

  • 1

    pound shiitake mushroom caps

  • Salt to taste

  • Freshly-ground black pepper to taste

Directions

In a skillet, saute onions and garlic in butter for 1 minute. Add sausage and lower heat to draw fat from sausage. Add mushrooms and saute on higher heat until mushrooms are tender. Salt and pepper to taste. This recipe yields 4 servings.
