Shiitake And Sausage Saute
- 1/2 cup sliced onions
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed garlic
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 pound Polish sausage sliced
- 1 pound shiitake mushroom caps
- Salt to taste
- Freshly-ground black pepper to taste
In a skillet, saute onions and garlic in butter for 1 minute. Add sausage and lower heat to draw fat from sausage. Add mushrooms and saute on higher heat until mushrooms are tender. Salt and pepper to taste.
This recipe yields 4 servings.
