Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup soft shortening
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tst salt
  • 2 cups frozen blueberries (I like frozen over fresh)
  • Crumb topping (below
  • Mix 1/2 cup sugar, 1/3 cup flour, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 cup soft butter.

Preparation

Step 1

Cream sugar and shortening, add egg and milk. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Fold in 2 cups blueberries.

Spread in a 9 in square or equal pan. Sprinkle crumb topping. Bake 45 to 50 mins until toothpick stuck into centeer comes out clean. Good warm or cold.
