Ingredients
- 1 lb crab meat
- 1/2 c red pepper, minced
- 1/2 c mayo
- 1/2 c fresh bread crumbs
- 1/3 c minced celery
- 1/4 c minced red onion
- 1 T chopped fresh parsley
- 1 t Old Bay
- 1/2 t salt,
- dry mustard
- hot pepper sauce
Preparation
Step 1
Combine all ingredients. Spread 2 c fresh bread crumbs on wax paper. Divide crab mixture into 8 patties; coat with crumbs. Refrigerate for 2 hrs. Heat oven to 400 deg. Roast 1/2 red pepper, 30 mins. Wrap in foil and cool. Remove skin and seeds; chop fine. Combine with 1/2 c may, 1 T lemon juice and 1/2 t minced garlic. Spread on rolls. Heat 1/2" oil; cook crab cakes. Top with lettuce, tomato and onion.
