Bran Muffins

Ingredients

  • 3 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cup Nabisco 100% Bran or Bran Buds
  • 2 cup boilin water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 4 cup Kelloggs All Bran
  • 1 cup margarine
  • 1 qt. buttermilk
  • 5 tsp. soda
  • 5 cup flour

Preparation

Step 1

In a huge bowl pour boiling water over 100% Bran, and let stand. Cream butter, sugar, and add eggs and buttermilk and Bran mixture. Sift together dry . Add Bran to flour mixture, and fold in dry .

Bake 400° for 15 to 20 minutes. Dough may be stored in refrigerator for up to 1 month.
