Pork Roast

Ingredients

  • Rub:
  • 1 tsp. rubbed sage
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • Combine these and rub onto roast.
  • Glaze:
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tblsp cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tblsp soy sauce

Preparation

Step 1

Glaze: Place all in a small sauce pan. Heat stirring occasionally until mixture begins to bubble and thicken slightly. Brush roast with glaze 3 or 4 times during the last 1/2 hour of cooking. Pour remaining glaze over roast and serve.
(I double both the rub and the glaze.)

Bake about 3 hours in 325 degree oven, or all day in crock pot.
