Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 jumbo eggs

Preparation

Step 1

Grease pop over pan.

Pour milk into large bowl, and add flour and salt. With rotary beater, or wire whisk beat until well blended. Add eggs one at a time, beating until each is completely blended. Fill cups 3/4 full. Do not scrape bowl.

Bake at 425° for 20 minutes. Reduce oven to 325° and bake 15 to 20 minutes longer, or until golden brown. Serve immediately.

For own recipe lower baking temperature by 25°, and shorten time by 10%. Test for doneness 10 minutes early. This is Granny's recipe.
