Ingredients

  • 1/4

    Cup of Oil

  • 1/4

    Cup of All Purpose Flour

  • 1

    Onion - Chopped

  • 3

    Cloves of Garlic - Chopped

  • 1

    Bell Pepper - Chopped

  • 2

    Celery Ribs - Chopped

  • 2

    - (14 1/4oz) Cans of Stewed Tomatoes

  • 1

    - 15oz Can Cream Corn

  • 1

    - 16oz Bag of Frozen Corn

  • 1

    - Gallon Water

  • 2

    lbs of Shrimp...Peeled

  • David's Creole Seasoning Mix

Directions

In a large pot, make a light roux by stirring oil into flour over medium heat. Remove from heat and add onion garlic, bell pepper and celery. Cook until sizzling ceases. Return to medium heat. Add Tomatoes, cook 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Add Corn and Water. Reduce heat and simmer 1 simmer. Bring back to a boil and add shrimp; cook 20 minutes. Season with David's Creole Seasoning Mix
