Ingredients
- 1 fresh beef brisket (4 pounds)
- 1 can (15-oz) tomato sauce
- 1 12-oz can of beer
- 1 cup chopped green pepper
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 Tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire
- 2 teaspoons prepared mustard
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoons pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Cut brisket into thirds and place in 5-quart slow cooker.
In large bowl, combine remaining ingredients and pour over brisket.
Cook on LOW 8-9 hours, then thinly slice meat across the grain and serve with pan juices.
