Ingredients
- 12 med. Vadalia Onions, sliced
- 2 cans Cream of Mushroom soup
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
- ½ lb mild cheddar cheese
- 1 – 3 ¾ oz bag potato chips
- ½ cup whole milk
Preparation
Step 1
1. In a 9 x 13 butter casserole place alternate layers of thinly sliced onions, crushed potato chips and grated cheese.
2. Pour mushroom soup and milk over the top of the onion mix and it will cook through.
3. Sprinkle cayenne pepper over the top and bake for 1 hr at 350 degrees. (This is a great side dish for barbeque)
