Ingredients
- 2 cup fresh basil leaves, packed
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/4 cup pine nuts
- 2/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
- kosher salt and pepper
- 1/2 cup pecorino romano cheese, grated

Preparation
Step 1
In a food processor, combine basil, garlic and pine nuts. Pulse until coarsely chopped. Add 1/2 cup oil. Process until incorporated and smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in cheese when using sauce right away. Can freeze sauce for 3 months. Drizzle remaining oil over to cover and freeze.
