White Chocolate - Macadamia Nut Cookies

A great chocolate chip cookie. Don't skimp on the ingredients and you won't be disappointed.

Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 12 ounces white chocolate chips (or bulk white chocolate cut into 1/4-inch chunks)
- 1/2 cup macadamia nuts, coarsely chopped
Preparation
Step 1
Mix flour, baking soda, and salt, and set aside.
Beat butter, sugars, and egg until fluffy. Stir in the dry ingredients. Blend in the vanilla. Gently stir in the chocolate and nuts.
Drop by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets, placing cookies a few inches apart. Bake at 375F for 8-10 minutes until golden brown. Cool slightly, and remove to wire racks to cool completely.
