Ingredients
- 1/4 c sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 c butter
- 1 1/2 c Corn CHEX cereal
- 1 1/2 c Rice CHEX cereal
- 1 1/2 c Wheat CHEX cereal
- 1-2 c dried cranberries, dried cherries or raisins
Preparation
Step 1
In a small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon; set aside. In a large microwave-safe bowl, microwave butter on high until melted. Stir in cereals; toss until well coated. Cook 2 minutes, stirring after 1 minute.
Sprinkle half of sugar mixture over the cereal; toss to coat. Sprinkle with the remaining sugar mixture; toss well. Cook 1 minute. Stir in cranberries. Spread over paper towels to cool, about 5 minutes. Store in an airtight container.
Yield: 8 (1/2 cup) servings.
