Ingredients
- :
- 7 oz (1/2 lb) elbow macaroni
- 6-8 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 2 C American cheese
- 2 C mozzarella cheese
- 2 C soft bread cubes
- 1 chopped onion, sautéed
- 1 small green bell pepper, sautéed
- :
- 4 eggs, separated
- 2 C milk
- 1 tsp salt
Preparation
Step 1
Combine “One.”
Preheat oven to 325 degrees
Beat “Two”, but use only the egg yolk. (Save the whites)
Mix “One” and “Two.”
Beat egg whites until stiff. Fold in.
Bake for one hour. Test. When done, allow to set for 5 minutes.
Note: Place a 9 by 13 shallow dish with 1 – 2 inches of water on the lowest rack of the oven.
Refrigerate leftovers.
