Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 3 tblsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbls rice vinegar
  • 1 tblsp honey
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tblsp oil
  • 1 tblsp giner
  • 2 gloves garlic
  • 1 cup carrots
  • 1 cup sliced red pepper
  • 1 cup pea pods
  • 1/4 cup onion
  • chicken breast
  • water chestnuts

Preparation

Step 1

Stir together broth, soy sauce, vinegar, honey, cornstarch and pepper.
Pour oil into a wok and heat over medium heat. Add ginger and garlic to wok. Cook and stir for 15 seconds. Add carrot and sweet pepper. Cook for 2 minutes. Add pes and green onions.
Add chicken to wok cook and stir for 3 to 4 minutes or until chicken is done. Push chicken from center of wok. Stir sauce and add to center of wok. Cook and stir until thickened and bubble. Return veggies to wok and stir in water chestnuts. Cook and stir to 1 to 2 minutes .
