Ingredients
- 1 large onion
- 1 green pepper
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 Tbs olive oil
- 2 lbs Venison or Turkey (or beef with no oil)
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 4 tsp cumin seed (not ground)
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp oregano
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- Tomato paste
- Can diced tomatoes
- VERY large can Ranch Style Beans
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oil and brown meat. Drain. Sauté onion, pepper and garlic.
Stir in Chili Powder, cumin, salt, oregano and pepper. Sauté until color is deep red. (About 3 minutes)
Stir in 1 can tomato paste, 1 can diced tomatoes, and water in all cans. Simmer 2 hours
Stir in 1 VERY large Ranch Style Beans and simmer one more hour.
Serve. Best when refrigerated and reheated!
