Ingredients
- 2 Lbs Yellow Squash
- 1 Medium Onion, Chopped
- 2 Tbs Butter
- 1 Can Cream of Celery Soup
- 2 Eggs
- 1/2 C Bread Crumbs
- 2 Tsp All Purpose Seasoning (Cavender’s)
- 1 Tbs Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 Tsp Salt
- Pepper to taste
- 2 C Chedder Cheese, Grated
- Bread or Cracker Crumbs
- Butter
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cook sliced squash and onion until tender; drain. Break up with fork, but do not completely mash. Add 2 Tbs butter, soup, eggs, crumbs, and seasonings. Place in buttered casserole dish. (May be frozen at this point). Add grated cheese and crumbs over top. Dot with butter pieces. Bake 30-40 minutes.
Serves 8
