Cheese Potato Soup (Shay)

Ingredients

  • 3 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Onion
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Celery
  • 2 cups Low Sodium Chicken Broth
  • 2 cans Cream of Potato Soup
  • 1 Pound Velveeta Cheese
  • 1 (3 ounces) package of Cream Cheese
  • Pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Saute vegetables in butter, add chicken broth, cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cook until vegetables are tender. Add cream of potato soup, Velveeta and cream cheese. Heat until smooth and creamy. Add pepper to taste.

Note: May add hash browns and use cream of celery soup.
