Cheesesteak Crostini

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs. flank steak
  • 2 T seasoning
  • 2 T olive oil
  • salt & pepper
  • 2 large onions, chop
  • 1 large peppers, chopped
  • 1 c beef stock
  • 2 crusty French bread, sliced on angle
  • 2 c shredded provolone cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Season steak with salt, pepper and seasoning. Drizzle with oil; grill until medium rare. Let sit. Add 1 T oil to pan and add onions, salt & pepper. Cook about 7-8 mins; add peppers and cook until soft; add stock and cook down. Drizzle bread with oil and toast lightly. Slice meat & place on bread. Top with onion/pepper mix and cheese; place under broiler to melt cheese.
