Ingredients
- ½ cup margarine
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 1/3 cup flour
- ½ tsp. salt
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 squares semi-sweet chocolate
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 egg whites, beaten stiffly and folded in last
Preparation
Step 1
Cream butter and sugar, add dry ingredients alternately with milk and grated chocolate. Fold in the egg whites. Bake 30 minutes in 350 degree oven.
Topping
1 1/3 cup butter
2 cups icing sugar
2 egg yolks
Spread on the cake. Melt 1 tbsp. vegetable oil with 2 squares semi-sweet chocolate and drizzle over icing.
