Ingredients
- 8 Slices Bacon
- 1 Cups Onion, Finely Chopped
- 1/4 Cup Green Pepper, Chopped
- 1 (1-lb) Can Diced Tomatoes
- 1 1/2 Cups Water
- 3/4 Cups Rice, Uncooked
- 1/2 Cups Chili Sauce
- Salt
- Black Pepper
- 1 tsp Brown Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
Preparation
Step 1
Chop bacon and cook until crisp. Remove from heat.
Reserve 2 Tbsp bacon fat to cook onion and green pepper until tender but not brown.
Add remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer 45 minutes or until tender. Sprinkle bacon on top.
