Finger Paint

Ingredients

• 1 quart boiling water
• 3/4 C soap flakes
• 1 tsp glycerin
• 3/4 C laundry starch
• peppermint oil OR oil of wintergreen
• poster paint or food coloring

Preparation

Step 1

Moisten starch, pour in boiling water. Stir until thick and smooth. Remove from heat. Add soap flakes. Stir until dissolved. Mix paint in oil. Add to starch mixture while warm. It should be pudding-like. Store in air-tight container.
