Barbecue Sauce (Frank Martin)

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbs butter
  • 3 Tbs onion, chopped
  • 1/2 C celery, chopped
  • 2 Tbs sugar
  • 2 Tbs vinegar
  • 1 Tbs Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/4 C lemon juice
  • 1 C ketchup
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • Dash of pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Saute butter and onion in butter until tender. Add remaining ingredients and cook to blend flavors, about 15 to 20 minutes.

Yield: 1 2/3 Cups
