Ingredients
- Crust:
- 1 C Flour
- 1/2 C Margarine
- 2 Tbs Cold Water
- Topping:
- 1 C Water
- 1 C Flour
- 1/2 C Margarine
- 3 Eggs
- 3 Tsp Almond Extract
- Frosting:
- 1/2 Box Powdered Sugar
- 3 Tbs Margarine
- 3 Tsp Almond Flavor
- Milk to thin
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Crust Directions:
Cut flour and margarine together. Add water—toss with fork until mixed. Roll into ball. Divide in half. Pat each half into a 3 x 12 inch strip.
Topping Directions:
Bring water and margarine to a boil. Add almond and remove from heat. Add flour, mix. Add eggs one at a time until well blended. Spoon onto strips. Bake for one hour.
Frosting Directions:
Mix sugar, margarine and flavoring. Add milk until you have spreading consistency. Frost.
