Dutch Hot Chocolate*

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk (depending on size of cup or mug
  • 1-2 ounces bittersweet or semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • whipped cream
  • hazelnut liqueur or syrup

Preparation

Step 1

In medium size pan heat milk over medium heat until mixture just comes to a boil. Remove from heat. Pour into large mug. Stir in chocolate. Let stand about 30 seconds. Stir to combine. Serve with plain whipped cream, or whipped cream flavored with hazelnut liqueur.
