Beef and Macaroni Dinner

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Ready Cut Macaroni
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 stalk celery, sliced
  • 2 lb ground beef
  • 2 tbsp. flour
  • 1 jar tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup grated Cheddar cheese

Preparation

Step 1

1. Cook macaroni according to instruction; drain.
2. Saute onion, cleery and a clove of garlic, minced, until tender. Add beef and brown. Drain off fat.
3. Stir in flour and following seasonings: 1 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. dry mustard, 1/2 tsp. celery salt and 1/8 tsp. pepper. Add tomatoes. Bring to a boil. Add cooked macaroni.
4. Turn into a 2.5 L baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese.
5. Bake at 350* about 30 min.

Makes 4 servings - about 1 3/4 cups per serving
