Fruit Ketchup

Ingredients

  • 6 apples
  • 54 tomatoes
  • 4 cups vinegar
  • 6 peaches
  • 6 pears
  • 6 medium onions
  • 6 celery sticks
  • 1 sweet red pepper
  • 3 green peppers
  • 1/2 medium cauliflower
  • 1/2 box pickle spice
  • 3 Tbsp. kosher salt
  • 4 cups white sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Remove the tomato peel using boiling water, cut in 1/4's then drain

Cut the fruit in cubes

Mix tomatoes & fruit with salt,spice and vinegar

Boil for 3 1/2 to 4 hours

Add sugar and dissolve

Fill jars with hot mixture

Can with hot bath

or

Let cool

Fill jars with cooled mixture
