Step 1

Greese a 9 in pie plate and then take 6 Gala apples and peel, core and slice into small slices. Then combine apples with 1/3 c packed brown sugar, 1/4 c white sugar and 1/2 tsp cinnamon. Mix and put in pie plate. Then to make crumble put 1 c white sugar in bowl with 1 c all purpose flour and 1/4 tsp each of baking soda and salt. Then with a pastery blender or fork, cut in butter (no amount given in reciepe) until mixture is cumble. Gather small amounts of mixture and press together to make large strussel like pieces and scatter on top. bake 35-50 minutes in preheated 350 degree oven. WE TRIED THIS 8/19/12 AND IT WAS EXTREMELY GOOD, I TOPPED IT WITH CARMEL SAUCE, KYLE SAID IT WAS ONE OF HIS FAVORITE DESSERTS, ALTHOUGH RYAN DIDNT LIKE IT.
