Goat cheese crackers with hot pepper yelly

  • 1 5 oz. log mild goat cheese
  • Heavy cream, as needed
  • 24 crackers
  • 6 tsp. hot pepper jelly
  • Snipped fresh chives for garnish

Preparation

Step 1

Bring the goat cheese to room temperature. If the goat cheese is crumbly, mash it in a bowl with a touch of cream. Spread about 1 tsp of the goat cheese on each cracker. Top each cracker with 1/4 tsp hot pepper jelly. Sprinkle with the chives.
