Ingredients
- 2 sq chocolate
- 4 T shortening melted
- 1 egg
- 1 c sugar
- 1 1/2 t b powder
- 3/4 c milk
- 1 1/2 c flour
- Filling
- 2 T flour
- 1/2 c milk
- pinch of salt
- 1/2 c shortening.
- 1 t vanilla or I use peppermint.

Preparation
Step 1
Mix well and add more flour if needed. I also use herseys dry cocoa and oil in place of the shortening. The dough needs to be firm enough to hold shape once placed on cookie sheet.
Once cooked and cooled, make the filling, and I use 1/2 recipe for the amount given above. It makes a lot. I also use the peppermint in place of the vanilla too.
Drop by spoonfulls on greased cookie sheet.
