Coffee Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (1/2 pint) heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup extra strong brewed coffee

Preparation

Step 1

In medium bowl, whisk the cream and sugar until the sugar has dissolved completely and the mixture is frothy.

Add the milk, vanilla and coffee. Whisk until well blended. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill in refrigerator for at least one hour.

Prepare the icer cream in an ice cream maker according to manufacturer's instructions.

Store ice cream in the freezer where it has a shelf life of about one week.

Makes 1 pint
