Strawberry cream cheese bread

Ingredients

• 1 c flour
• 1 c rolled oats
• 1 1/2 t baking powder
• 1/2 t salt
• 1/2 c unsalted butter softened
• 1/2 c packed brown sugar
• 2 lg eggs
• 2 t vanilla
• 6 oz chopped strawberries
• 4 oz cream cheese softened
• 1/4 c sugar

Preparation

Step 1

preheat oven to 350
grease loaf pan
whisk together flour, oats,baking powder, and salt.
Beat butter and brown sugar till fluffy
add eggs and 1 t vanilla-mix well
mix into flour mixture and stir in strawberries
in seperate bowl beat cream cheese, sugar and 1 t vanilla till smooth
add to flour and strawberry mixture stirring 4-5 times till streaked with cream cheese mixture
put batter in loaf pan sprayed with cooking spray
bake 40 minutes
cool completely in pan on wire rack before serving
