Quick and Easy Home Fried Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 5 lbs. of potatoes – peeled
  • 1 onion - sliced
  • 3 cloves of garlic - chopped
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Paprika
  • Garlic powder
  • Dried oregano
  • Chili powder

Preparation

Step 1

Boil potatoes until fork tender.

Let the potatoes cool and then quarter the potatoes.

Heat a frying pan with the butter and a drizzle of olive oil. Place the sliced onion and the chopped garlic in the heated pan. Sauté until slightly golden; remove into a serving bowl.

Place the potatoes on a hot griddle. Sprinkle with seasonings to taste and drizzle with olive oil. When the potatoes have a golden crust on one side, turn over repeat process on the other side.

Place in the serving bowl with the onions and garlic. Toss and serve.
