Ingredients
- 1 c soft shortening
- 2 egg yolks (unbeaten)
- 2 c flour
- 1/2 c brown sugar
- 1/2 t vanilla
- 2 egg whites (unbeaten)
- chopped nuts
Preparation
Step 1
Cream shortening, sugar and egg yolks; add flour. Form in small balls and roll in egg whites and chopped nuts. Bake on ungreased sheet for 5 min. at 350 deg; then press thumb and place jam in center. Bake 5 min. longer.
