Berry Cobbler Cake
- 2 c. frozen or fresh berries (blueberries, blackberries, or raspberries)
- 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 egg
- 1 c. water, divided
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 tbsp. cornstarch
- ice cream (optional)
Preheat oven to 375. Place berries in 9" square baking dish. Combine cake mix and cinnamon in lg bowl. Add egg and 1/4 c. water; stir till well blended. Spoon over berries.
Combine sugar and cornstarch in sm bowl. Stir in remaining 3/4 c. water till sugar mix dissolves; pour over cake batter and berries.
Bake 40-45 mins. or till lightly browned. Serve warm or room temp w/ ice cream if desired.
