Banana Split Cake

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. cool whip
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 sm. box vanilla instant pudding
  • 1 sm. can well-drained crushed pineapple (20oz)
  • 1.5 c. sliced strawberries
  • 3 thinly sliced bananas
  • choc. syrup
  • chopped pecans to top

Step 1

Mix an 8 oz. container of cool whip w/ sour cream. Sprinkle pudding mix in and add pineapple. Fold together.

Use an 8x13 cake pan and cover the bottom w/ a layer of graham crackers. Then spread about 1/3 c. of the cool whip mix on it and add a layer of bananas (rinse them w/ aciduated water 1st... that is just water w/ a little lemon juice in it). Now add another layer of graham crackers and more cool whip and more bananas and then final layer of cool whip.

Wrap it up tight and put it in the fridge overnight. This softens up the crackers and they become cake-like. Before serving add more aciduated sliced bananas, lots of sliced strawberries and sprinkle of chopped pecans. End it all w/ an artful drizzle of choc. syrup.
