- 2 1/2 cup blackberries smashed
- 2/3 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 T baking powder
- 1/2 tsp.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9 x 13 glass baking dish.
Smash blackberries and sprinkle 2/3 cup sugar over them.
Mix flour, baking powder, salt and half sugar together and cut butter into mixture. Pour over berries and sprinkle rest of sugar over top.
Bake 30 to 40 minutes until top is lightly browned and berries are cooked through. Serve with ice cream.
