Ingredients
- SAUCE:
- 1 lb. beef steak, cubed to 1"
- 1/4 cup brocolli flowerets
- 1/4 cu baby corn
- 1 green onion, cut to 1" lengths
- 1/2 tsp minced ginger
- 1/2 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsps dark soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 tbsp tapioca starch
Preparation
Step 1
1. Marinate beef cubeswith 1 tbsp tapioca starch, 3 tbsp light soy sauce, 1 tbsp cooking wine and drops of sesame seed oil.
2. Heat up 2 cup oil, deep fry beef cubes until color changes to brown, remove and drain oil.
3. Heat wok, brown green onion, garlic and ginger: Stir fry vegetables; return meat to wok. Add sauce and bring to a boil. Serve hot.
