Ingredients
- 1 lb.sirloin steak cut into 1/2" strips 3 stalks chinese cabbage sliced
- 1 Tablespoon soy sauce 1 medium onion
- 1 slice ginger root or 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder 1 can water chestnuts drained
- mix together and let marinate 1 hour 1 can bamboo shoots drained
- 1 small can chicken broth
- 1 package frozen pea pods ( snow peas) 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/2 cup salad oil 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/4 pound sliced mushrooms 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon sugar
- Rice or chow mien noddles
Preparation
Step 1
Place frozen peas in a colander and rinse with cold water. Add 2 tablespoons oil to wok and brown meat. Remove meat and keep warm. Add 2 tablespoons oil to wok and cook veges. except pea pods, 2 minutes; Add pea pods and 1 cup chicken both cover and cook 2 minutes. mix remaining both with cornstarch.salt, soy sauce, and sugar. Cook until thick and boiling, stir 1 minute. Add meat and heat through. Serve with rice or chow mien noddles.
