Brown Butter Beans

Ingredients

  • 4 cups thin green beans, trimmed
  • 4 Tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Cook beans in a large saute pan of boiling salted water for 4 minutes. Drain and set aside; wipe out pan.

Melt butter in same pan over medium heat until light brown, about 2 minutes. Stir in garlic and cook 30 seconds.

Deglaze pan with lemon juice and remove from heat. Add beans, toss to coat, and season with salt and pepper.
