Ingredients
- 2 lbs superfine sugar
- 2 dozen eggs
- 3 quarts half & half
- 1 quart whipping cream
- 1 fifth brandy (optional)
- 2 Tbls Nutmeg
- 3 Tbls vanilla
Preparation
Step 1
Read recipe completely before beginning.
Separate eggs - beat the yolks with 1 lb sugar, add half & half, vanilla, nutmeg and brandy. Beat whites with 1/2 lb sugar and fold in. Beat whipped cream with 1/2 lb sugar, fold in. Sprinkle nutmeg on top. Refrigerate.
Note: Start with a very large bowl, as all ingredients will end up in original bowl that yolks were beaten.
