BREAKFAST IN A BAR

These are easy to make and delicious, although a bit on the rich side.
A small bar goes a long way.
You can add dried fruit to make them even better, if you like.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup PACKED BROWN SUGAR
  • 1/4 cup MELTED BUTTER
  • 1/4 cup MELTED MARGARINE
  • 1 EGG
  • 2 cups QUICK OATS
  • 1 tsp. BAKING POWDER

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all ingredients.
Press into a greased 9" X 9" pan.
Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes.
Mixture will harden as it cools.
Cut into squares when cool.
