M&M "Bakery" Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup brown sugar
• 1 cup white sugar
• 1 cup shortening
• 2 eggs
• 2 tsp vanilla
• 1 cup veg/canola oil
• 4 cups flour
• 2 tsp baking soda
• 4 tsp cream of tartar
• m&m's

Preparation

Step 1

1. Combine first 5 ingredients and cream about 2 min.
2. Add vegetable oil & mix well.
3. Sift dry ingredients together and add to dough; mixing just until combined.
4. Fold in m&m's.
5. Chill the dough for about 10-15 min before baking (and, place the bowl of dough back in the refrigerator in between baking times).
6. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 min.
