Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. water
- 4 c. sliced peaches
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice

Preparation
Step 1
Combine sugar, cornstarch, and salt; add water and peaches. Bring to a boil. Add lemon juice and cool. Meanwhile make crumbs using 1 cup flour, 1/2 cup sugar and 1/4 cup butter. Put peaches in unbaked 9 inch pie shell and cover with crumbs. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce to 375 degrees. Bake 20 minutes more.
